You buy the files and a right of use. What you may do with the quiz is set out below.
Licence
For your own quiz nights, as often as you like and with admission if you want. No reselling or sharing.
Allowed
- Quiz nights of your own or your organisation, including public ones with admission
- Play it as often as you like, also online with your own participants
- Adapt the quiz for your own use
Not allowed
- Reselling, giving away or sharing outside your organisation
- Hosting for a client without a licence per client
- Publishing questions or slides online

What you buy
You buy the files of one quiz and the right to use that quiz as described below. Dubbelquiz keeps the copyright. Your right of use is permanent, worldwide and non-exclusive.
Who the licence is for
The licence belongs to the buyer: one person or one organisation, such as a club, pub, school or company. Employees and volunteers may use the quiz for that organisation.
What you may do
- Play the quiz as often as you like, at one or more locations of your own or your organisation.
- Play it online over a video call with your own participants.
- Charge admission or an entry fee and hand out prizes.
- Print the answer sheets and the picture round for the participants.
- Adapt the quiz for your own use: remove, add or translate questions, or change the layout.
- Post a photo or short video of your quiz night on social media.
Quizmasters who host for others
Are you a quizmaster or event agency hosting the quiz for a client? Then you need a separate licence for each client. Even then, you do not give the files to the client.
What you may not do
- Resell, give away or share the files, or parts of them, with people outside your organisation. This also applies to an adapted version.
- Publish the questions, answers or slides online, for example on a website, on social media or in a quiz app that others can use.
- Use the quiz for quizzes or products that you sell yourself.
- Use the content to train AI models.
- Remove the licence code or the order number from the files.
Mistakes
We check the questions and answers carefully. Even so, an answer can be wrong or out of date. Let us know and we will correct it, and you can download the new version. On the quiz night, the quizmaster decides. If we are liable, it is never for more than the amount you paid for the quiz, except in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness. Your statutory rights as a consumer still apply.
Misuse
If you use the quiz outside this licence, we may end your right of use and stop your download access. If you are a consumer, you compensate the damage we suffer as a result, such as lost licence income. If you are a business buyer, you pay a penalty of five times the licence price for each person or organisation that received the quiz without its own licence. If our damage is higher, we may also claim that.
Refunds
If your payment is fully refunded or charged back, your right of use ends and you stop using the quiz.

The licence code
The PowerPoint and Excel files you download contain your licence code and order number, so a leaked file can be traced back to the purchase. It is not copy protection: you can open, print and present the files as usual.
